Generally, it is divided into two types: coarse bran, which comes from polishing the surface of brown rice, and fine bran, obtained from further polishing and whitening. Rice bran has nutritional value, including proteins, fats, dietary fiber, vitamins, and various minerals. Currently, rice bran is used in several ways, such as rice bran oil, which is a high-quality edible oil. It is considered a quality edible oil with 77% unsaturated fatty acids, of which 31.7% are essential fatty acids, and it is a source of vitamin E. Additionally, rice bran can be used as animal feed and mixed into animal diets. Moreover, rice bran has properties as an antioxidant, helps promote growth, and improves blood circulation.
